The NEC, 2,000 users and a Ticket Factory.

Birmingham February 2008

The NEC are currently implementing a VoIP solution for 2000 users. This includes the NIA, ICC and the NEC itself. A contact centre solution will also be provided as part of the launch for the TicketFactory which is the new box office for the NEC Group.

As times are changing at this leading events and entertainment company, the time came to upgrade the communications systems to support the strategic direction of the business. A gradual migration to Voice over IP (VoIP) is taking place over a number of months incorporating all venues of the NEC Group, including the NEC Arena, the ICC and the Symphony Hall.

With the launch of the new box office, The TicketFactory, the contact centre solution is set to increase the efficiency and productivity of agents as they serve clients from around the UK.
