Alcatel-Lucent 4635 Voice Messaging System Software Issue

Alcatel-Lucent has announced a time and date software vulnerability for the 4635H and 4635J Voice Messaging Systems (VMS) which users must take action on before Tuesday 24th November 2015 to ensure continuity of service.

What Is It?

  • On Nov 24th 2015 all date & time related features will show the wrong dates or stop working on 4635 voicemail systems.
  • All 4635H/J voice messaging systems are affected.
  • If you do not take action there is a high risk that you will lose Voice Messaging Services on 24th November 2015.

What Must Be Done?

  • Upgrade A4635 to release R5.6 before Nov 24th 2015
  • Software fix supported for OXE R8.0 or later.
  • Contact Amillan to discuss the options available to your organisation.
